Keeping Those Skills Over the Sumer

We all know students lose some skills over the summer that they have worked hard to develop during the school year. However, there is a way to prevent that.

The Summer Skills Daily Activity Workbook series is made to help children review and remember the skills they have learned throughout the previous school year. And, it also gets them ready for the new skills they will encounter at the beginning of the next school year.

The first half of the book focuses on reviewing previously learned materials, and the second half introduces new concepts and terms, complete with instructions and examples for better understanding of new material.

Each workbook follows a 90-day format, alternating between math and reading/writing activities each day. These activities are presented using full-color illustrations and include:

  • Puzzles
  • Mazes
  • Math applications
  • Word finds
  • Reading comprehension
  • Vocabulary practice

Find these books at any Barnes and Noble for 5.99; if you sign up for homeschool discount, you can get them for 5.35.
